Lelage Freeman

Morganton - Lalage Grigg Freeman, 95, of Morganton, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Survivors include a son, John Thomas Tucker and wife, Ramona, of Carriere, Miss., and a daughter, Margaret Tucker Puckett and husband, Dr. James Puckett, of Asheville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010, in the First Baptist Church Chapel. The family will receive friends in the church parlor one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Drawer 549, Morganton, NC 28680. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
