Betty Rose Davis

Candler - Betty Rose Davis died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at her home in Candler.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, GySgt. Richard N. Davis USMC (retired); parents, Laurance H. and Augusta Mae Davis of Candler; and sister, Barbara Johnson of Candler.

She is survived by son, Rober Davis of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Harding of Candler and Gloria Lobaugh of Miledgeville, Ga.; two brothers, Wilbur Davis of Canton and Laurance Davis of Beaufort, S.C.; devoted nephew, Raymond Harding of Candler; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

At her request, a private service is being observed and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Memorials can be sent in her name to Mount Moriah Wesleyan Church, 3 Fairmont Road, Candler, NC 28715.
